The Challenge

A film production company needed a website that matched the cinematic quality of their work. They handle large video files — showreels, trailers, behind-the-scenes footage — and needed a site that could stream these assets without buffering or slowing down the page. The design had to feel as premium as the films they produce.

The Solution

• Built on WordPress with a custom theme to give the client full control over content updates
• Optimized video delivery with lazy loading and proper encoding — showreels load as interactive thumbnails and only stream when the visitor clicks play
• Cinematic design language with full-bleed hero sections and dark, immersive galleries
• Custom post types for portfolio pieces, crew profiles, and production credits — structured so each project has its own narrative space

Key Decisions

• WordPress over a JavaScript framework — the client's team needed to update content without developer involvement
